Order Processing Time

All orders are processed within 1–2 business days of payment confirmation. Orders placed after 2:00 PM EST or on weekends and public holidays will be processed on the next business day. You will receive an email confirmation with your tracking information as soon as your order has been dispatched.

Shipping Destinations

We currently ship to all eligible U.S. states and territories. Please note that certain refrigerant products may be subject to state-level regulations that restrict shipping to specific locations. If your order cannot be shipped to your delivery address due to regulatory restrictions, you will be notified during checkout or immediately after order placement. Please contact our support team if you have questions about shipping eligibility for a specific product or destination.

Shipping Methods & Estimated Delivery Times

  • Standard Shipping: Estimated delivery in 3–7 business days from the date of dispatch. Available for all eligible orders.
  • Expedited Shipping: Estimated delivery in 1–3 business days. Available for most products and destinations. Additional charges apply.
  • Freight / LTL Shipping: For large bulk orders, palletized shipments, or oversized cylinders, freight shipping may be required. Freight timelines and costs will be communicated to you before dispatch.

Delivery estimates are not guaranteed and may be affected by carrier delays, severe weather conditions, peak shipping periods, or other factors outside our control. We will do our best to keep you informed of any significant delays affecting your order.

Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your order’s total weight, dimensions, and delivery location. The exact shipping cost will be displayed before you confirm your purchase so there are no surprises. We periodically offer free shipping promotions on qualifying orders — please check our website for current offers.

Order Tracking

Once your order is shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing your tracking number and a link to the carrier’s tracking page. You can also track your order by logging into your Smart Refrigerants account and navigating to ‘My Orders’. If you have not received your tracking information within 2 business days of placing your order, please contact our support team.

Refrigerant Shipping Regulations & Compliance

The transportation of refrigerants is subject to U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and, in some cases, EPA and state-level requirements. Smart Refrigerants takes full responsibility for ensuring all shipments are packaged, labeled, and documented in compliance with applicable transportation regulations. Customers are responsible for ensuring they have the appropriate certifications and regulatory approvals required to receive and handle specific refrigerant products in their state. We strongly recommend reviewing your local regulations before placing an order.

Damaged or Lost Shipments

  • Damaged on Arrival: If your order arrives visibly damaged, please take clear photographs before opening the package and contact us within 48 hours of delivery at support@smartrefrigerants.com with your order number and photos. We will file a claim with the carrier and arrange a replacement or refund as quickly as possible.
  • Lost in Transit: If your tracking information shows your package as delivered but you have not received it, or if there has been no movement on the tracking for more than 5 business days, please contact us immediately. We will investigate with the carrier and work to resolve the issue promptly.

Undeliverable Packages

If a package is returned to us as undeliverable due to an incorrect address provided at checkout, a failed delivery attempt, or the recipient’s refusal to accept the package, we will contact you to arrange re-shipment. Additional shipping charges will apply for re-delivery. If you choose not to have the package re-shipped, a refund will be issued minus the original shipping cost and any return shipping fees incurred.
